We serve youth ages 7+ with our youngest mentee being 7 years old and oldest mentee being 24 years old.
To sign your child up for a mentor, you’ll first need to apply for our City of Dreams program. Once accepted, your child will have to attend our workshops, events, and outings consistently to be considered for a mentor.
We currently have a waitlist of mentees, so the match process may take longer than usual.
Our mission is to serve Bayview youth living in public housing. Whatever your living situation is, we’re here to serve at no cost to you.
Please review our mentor requirements before applying. We are looking for individuals who can make a long-term commitment with our youth to build a strong, life-long connection. After reviewing, you can apply to become a mentor here.

We currently offer 2 types of volunteering opportunities: mentoring and garden volunteering. We are also open to any volunteer ideas you may come up with! To chat more about other volunteer opportunities, contact info@cityofdreams.org.
